Amy Homer is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor specializing in individual therapy for adults, teens, and children and is licensed to practice in both Kentucky (#165583 with supervisory credentials) and Ohio ( E.1100627). Her office is located in Fort Thomas, Kentucky and is easily accessible off Interstate 471.
She is a 1997 graduate of Xavier University with a Masters in Education in Counseling along with completing additional clinical coursework at Cincinnati Christian University in 2012. Amy works both locally and virtually, collaborating with clients from all walks of life. Her varied experience working in outpatient mental health, schools, foster care, and most recently in private practice makes her extremely flexible in meeting expectations from various ages of clients.
Amy utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Behavioral Therapy as well as Mindfulness Practices. She recently completed a 4-day training in Exposure and Relapse Prevention with the Cognitive Behavioral Institute in 2021. She is also a member of the American Counseling Association.
